This is a special thank you page for people who gave information and tried to help has much as possible for me to find my father's recordings. I have found 3 original recordings and 2 recordings of cover songs.
A special thank you to Ronny Ouelette who found the acetate recording on July 14, 1960. The songs are "Come On" and "Won't You Please". Unfortunately, the acetate was played too many times and "Won't You Please" was totally ruined.
A special thank you to Barry Simmons who gave me a copy of an old 78 recording that was done in the mid '50s. The cover songs are "Boni Maroni" with my father doing vocals and "Party Doll" with Les Emmerson on vocals. This was the very first recording the trio did. They only knew 3 chords. They were called "The Bebops".
A special thank you to Jim Harkness who gave me an acetate of the very first original recording that was recorded by my father. The songs are "All Of My Dreams" and "If You're Gonna Love Me". The musicians are: Les Emmerson on Guitar; Bob Langley on Bass; Wayne Latendresse (Tender) on Guitar and Vocals; Larry Williams on Tenor Saxophone; Jim Harkness on Drums.
A special thank you to a very special friend, Larry Fitzgerald who not only is trying to help me find all the recordings but, gave me majority of "The Staccatos" and "Five Man Electrical Band" vinyl recordings. Through time and the fact that I was going to quit looking he supported me in my efforts and gave me the strength I needed to carry on. Thank you so much Larry, you are a true friend.
Brian Rading and Les Emmerson gave me so much information that everytime I turned the corner there were more people to contact and find out all that I could. It warms my heart to know that success hasn't changed them and they reach out to help people.
The songs "Come On", "Won't You Please", "All Of My Dreams" and "If You're Gonna Love Me" were done at HH Bloom in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. The cover songs "Boni Maroni" and "Party Doll" were done in somebody's basement studio.
I wish to thank the following people who without their help I wouldn't have found the people above as well as finding out how my father was. I learned a lot about him since I was a baby when my father passed away and I also learned a lot about the music business.
